Named eponymously after the designer, Suzi Buki is a staunchly sustainable slow-fashion couture label situated in London.

Our creations are pre-order, bespoke pieces, made with an ethical intentionality that reduces waste and excess, coupled with an intrinsic intentionality to empower the wearer to live their best, most fierce and most confident lives.

We are a brand which crosses continents and cultures taking the best from Nigeria, the country of Suzi's birth, and Britain where she has lived for thirty years. That duality sees Suzi working with a team of highly skilled artisans in Nigeria, a group of lifelong friends who were destined to be part of the Suzi Buki fashion family as soon as she decided to launch the brand. It was a step that also realized another of her founding intentions, to instill a sense of consciousness and social enterprise at the very heart of the brand through preserving traditional Nigerian artisanal skills and creating job opportunities for her origin community.

It's a cross continent duality which seamlessly manifests itself in designs which take their inspiration from the vivacious, vibrant hues and prints of Nigeria and gold standard British heritage tailoring.

Suzi Buki creations are garments made with sustainability at the very core of the design process. Using a custom-made dummy molded to precisely replicate each client's figure alleviates the need for multiple fittings and eliminates wastage. A technique originally used by the couture houses of Paris; Suzi Buki has reimagined it for a 21st century clientele who wish couture without the climate consequences.

The myriad cross-cultural influences which inform the Suzi Buki design process coalesced to create the AW22 "Avatar" collection. A collection designed to empower women to be their own avatar and discover their alternate self. To empower them to explore their own essence, to be their own muse, to be in complete control of whoever and whatever they want to be.

That vision manifests itself in three key signature silhouettes, the trench coat dress, the Countess coat and the Afro Military rock jacket, all of which premiered at our physical runway show during London Fashion Week in February 2022. Three very different but very Suzi Buki designs that enchanted the physical, as well as the considerable digital, audience.

Suzi Buki creations are flamboyantly functional, have an innate intergenerational appeal and are instantly recognizable by their contemporary yet timeless template.
